Serenity Chapter 2
Serenity C2 Episode 4 (Devlog 9)
Happy Friday and the beginning of the holiday week to you all.
Today, I have good news, and some bad news. Good news is that I have finished about 70% of the renders and have only about 6 animations left to create for Serenity episode 4. Bad news is it won't be completed in time for Christmas. I tried so hard guys, I'm sorry. I know that is disappointing. But with family coming in starting tomorrow, I can't be at my computer again until at least the 26th. It is very possible I could finish it for the first week of January. With what I have left, unless there is some unforeseen chaos between now and then to stop me, I think I can make that happen at least.
Aside from that, I managed to tweak my back this past Monday and it's still fucked today. Really sucks because I am usually pretty active through the holidays running my smoker (I usually do a ham and also 2 briskets). Along with other things. But this will definitely slow me down. The only good news about that is if it hasn't started to feel better after Christmas, sitting at my desk doesn't bother it at all. I have a really nice chair at my desk with lumbar support. I injured my back pretty bad about 10 years ago and ever since then, if I'm not careful, I can tweak it just picking up a piece of paper off the floor. Super annoying.
Although Serenity won't be ready, I know that some of my friends are releasing over this weekend. Caribdis just released his latest update to Eternum (brilliant game if you haven't played it yet). Lykanz just released an update to The Inn chapter 2. I've also heard that TD and Gil are very close to having their next update to Pale Carnations ready, so keep an eye out for that.
I leave you with a little Christmas render with 2 of the main girls from Last Human in their (appropriate for the holidays) green and red armor. The next episode of Last Human will be a good one and I can't wait to work on it. I wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas this year. Hope you are doing fine and well fam. Merry Christmas to you and your family as well. You should focus more on taking care of yourself all of us can wait for the update anyway. We are not in a hurry.
I have similar back issue for about the same amount of time. Sometimes life happens, patiently waiting and excited for the next update. Take care of yourself and Merry Christmas.
It's been a stressful holiday for allot of us. Just know that your VN fans are pretty patient because your stories has been so good. Health and family come first, and remember to smile and laugh. We'll all be ready for your continuation once it's ready. Merry Christmas Fire.
