Last Human - Rin Scene Explanation (SPOILER)
Okay, I feel kind of stupid for even thinking I need to post this, but I guess I should have written this scene differently because some of you are freaking out now.
First of all, RELAX. We're not going to cuck Mike from Serenity with Rin. So, this is now spoiled. If you guys would trust old N2 to do what he does, you would not even be worried about this. Didn't anyone notice that Mike didn't ever really agree with her on anything yet? He turned his back on her. I thought the renders gave enough clues that I didn't need to dialogue it to death. There is a reason for this scene and I won't get into it because I absolutely hate spoiling the story, especially character specific ones. The scene is intended to setup the way Rin will be acting (when she does appear) in LH.
So everyone... please stop worrying. I don't do NTR and I don't write cucking situations either, I never have. I'm honestly surprised some of you would even think this LOL.
With all that said, let me just point out one lesson that Serenity has attempted to teach - you are the MC of Serenity. You are the MC of Last Human. You are the common MC in ALL adult VN's you play. Melody... when she came up in Serenity, man I got all kinds of comments on that. How can you cuck yourself? I suppose it's possible... hey that gives me an idea! Nah, just kidding.
Seriously though, do not worry about Rin. Everything will be clear in the next episode when she shows up again. ;)

I agree with you N2. It pretty much works out that if someone is only playing the game to fap then they most likely miss the neuonce of the situation. I had not played either of the Serenity games as yet. I just found out they are related to LH and Rin is fun in LH. I will have to get both Serenity games now just to establish the background you built there in my mind and see if I catch the neuonce of the scenes.
Now for my response to LH... GREAT GAME! Keep it up! Glad to hear you plan to be around a while. So many games with tons of potential fall flat on their faces when the developers cannot carry forward or get burnt out. If you start getting that way. Take a break! We, your fans, would much rather see you continue with quality updates than see you fall off because you lost your motivation or got burnt out from the pressure and work load.
I have to admit that this scene surprised me. But I didn't think about it in the way some people obviously did, because, just as has been mentioned, the MC from Last Human and the MC from Serenity are basically one person. That's too obvious just by looks, and has been mentioned in the game after the first time Rin appeared, if I remember correctly. She returned to Serenity, and I think it was the MCs mother mentioning it.
Wait, people have been asking about THIS? I for one have been actually in the middle of an existential crisis asking myself if me from Serenity and me from LH were the same me as me everywhere else (it makes sense if you don't think too much about it), but THIS is important?
Honestly, just goes to show your growth as a developer and storyteller: you didn't talk (or in this case, wrote), you've shown. I got the general idea, but some didn't. That's fine, sometimes people get used to dialogue and narration being shoved down their throats (I mean, Milky Touch is there).
Btw, I'm slowly recovering from said existential crisis through Baldur's Gate 3. But given that an LH update has dropped, you'll probably send me back into the same spiral won't you? I hate you, but also I love you and stay safe, take care of yourself.
honestly .. it didn't bother me one bit. the fact you have to explain yourself (it's your story after all ) makes no sense to me .. do what you do.. write your story. :D

Me Personally No, no I don't since the Reader themselves (If you read both VNs) are the same Person but different Dimensions.
but for now... Think of RIN as an Guardian Angel observing your Every Move.
P.S. I was Really surprised at the last part where rin Shows up.
