Hello fellow dream writers!

I've been down for a few days then had to deal with some major activities for my regular job, so I've fallen behind where I would have liked to be at this point. Not to mention, dealing with a classic case of writer's block. I know what I want to have happen but actually applying that to Serenity is always different than what I expect. Then I end up rewriting things, and before long I've changed the dialogue for an entire scene. I am getting better at dealing with that, but have had a lot going on so it's been a slower process than usual.

Anyway, I've had a lot of positive feedback and very kind words sent to me after 1.2 released. Yes, I've had some negative feedback as well, but overall, the feedback has been very positive! So it's good to know a lot of you get it and dig what Serenity is all about... writing your own dreams. Of course, the kitty girls help with that a lot, haha ;) 

I'll try to have the November desktop background done sometime in the next few days. As I said, I've run a bit behind and I'd like to do something special for all the new patrons that have joined recently (thank you!). The monthly background is a benefit for patrons in all tiers. Backgrounds are rendered and released at 3840X2160 uncompressed.

Coming up in my next patron-only devlog, I'll be revealing our next original Serenity character, Shade. Version 1.3 new content will introduce us to the other side and we'll find out if they're truly 'bad' or just more 'naughty'! Things will start to settle a bit in Serenity during this next update after the confrontation we're all expecting.

In my previous patron-only devlog, I mentioned that I would be adding one decision (the only major decision in Serenity) in 1.3. However, due to the setbacks I've dealt with already this month, I won't have time to write very far into that second path. So you'll want to setup a separate set of saves (you'll know when you get there). This second branch will be a completely different path that probably 90% of you wouldn't actually choose. So why am I putting it in there? Because I want to haha. Seriously though, I just thought it would be fun to see what would happen. So I'll be adding to that path over the next few updates. It won't be a long one but we'll see how it goes. You'll want to play both paths since I'm planning some gallery unlocks in this other path ;)
