Happy weekend all!

This week in devlog 7, I wanted to drop a couple of preview images for everyone. The first one is Kalina. I needed to make some very slight changes to her because I didn't like how her face looked with some expressions. Sometimes, HS2 has a tendency to make a character's mouth look really weird. I didn't like her smile because it didn't look genuine. After some adjustments, I think she looks a lot better now. I have the same issue with another random character I made for this update, but she only has a small part, so I left her alone for now. 

Recently, I've been taking time here and there to make some special renders for patrons. And after a week or two, I post them for all to see. I've decided to add all of these (plus some others) to an art gallery that I'll be adding to Last Human later on this year. I may do the same with Serenity Chapter 2. I know some people enjoy the process of 'unlocking' the gallery, but I may just add it completely unlocked. Feel free to comment on that and let me know what you think.

Over this week in development, I didn't quite get to where I wanted to be due to my full-time job requiring a lot more of my time. Plus, I had to work in the office instead of from home for 4 of the days. Unfortunately, that has to take priority since it is still my main source of income. As most of you know, I don't make very much money on these games (about a thousand per month), and never intended to get rich off it to begin with. And so, my development time suffers as a consequence. Many of you have been so understanding about this, telling me to take my time. I appreciate that. It isn't much, but I try to counter these times where I can't get much done by sharing special renders, and just trying to make sure I stay in contact with you guys.

With all that said, I did manage to get around 150 more images rendered out. That brings me to just about 38%. So yeah, I was hoping to be at 50%. But you know how it goes, shit happens, and I just try to make the best of it.

Now, to more fun discussions... I received a few DM's through the week and one interesting question I got was: In what order will we 'mate' with the girls... and will there be lewd content with 'non-pets'? If you paid attention to the story so far, you should know that the pet mating ritual begins with a kiss, which is established by the male. After that, the female initiates sex when she is ready. And with multiple pets, this must happen in the order in which they made claims. That sequence will be: Alexis, Natalie, Kalina, Dezzy, then Alaina. If you're confused about Kalina and Dezzy's position here, Kalina actually added her claim on the first day she met the Captain (the morning of the battle with Rin). Dezzy made her claim after the arena. Anyway, once you've had sex with a girl, the next one will initiate it (when she is ready). And so on, until you've sealed your pet status with all of them.

Another question I received: Will the Captain get to have sex with other girls that are not pets? And if so, will the pets get pissed or jealous? The answer to the first part of that question is yes. That Captain will have some fun side adventures with some girls here and there. As for pets getting pissed about that or jealous... No. With one exception... Alexis. The thing with Lexi is that she happens to "tolerate" the other pets. In reality, she will always want you all to herself. She could really be a mix of tsundere and yandere. Although she isn't quite so tsundere with Mike anymore, when it comes to him, she can be borderline yandere with others (quick example of that being Alaina). Alexis doesn't like Alaina because she's far to open about sex, where Lexi is much more private and wants to be romanced. As you proceed mating with each girl, you'll learn more about each of them. And in episode 2, Alexis is the focus.

As for non-pets... There are going to be times when Mike is on his own dealing with some situation where he is approached by other sexy Pantherians who would love nothing more than to have a quick bang with the Captain. These situations will pretty much always happen away from the other pets, so there will be little chance of jealousy coming into play. Keep in mind, there are no males in Pantheria. And Nekos are all about beauty, pleasure, and especially SEX. A dildo might be a nice way for them to release, but to them, it is no comparison to the real thing. ;)

Okay, before this gets too long, I'll end it here. I have this weekend open to work all I want to on the update and I want to get moving. I'm on my second cup of coffee now, and that means it's time for me to turn on some much, and get plugged in.
